Bon Appetite!!

AN ODE TO FISHERMEN.....

When the day is done,
and the fish are caught,
it's all the tools away,
no chance of working over boss,
I'm off to The Caberfeidh.

Pint in hand and a bar to lean,
What a happy chap I be,
But I know it can't last too long,
I have to go home for tea.

Tomorrow comes another day,
Of blood, sweat and prawn,
The day is surely dragging on,
It's only five past dawn,

It's blowing a mighty blizzard,
Of snow and frost today,
"No way I'm going to sea boss"
"Achhh.Lets go back to The Caberfeidh"..

A Little Thank You....!!
Hello. I'm John Moynihan, one of those wrinkly ramblers who came into your inn every night this week and the one who borrowed your gaiters. Thanks for being so generous and such good hosts. We all enjoyed the food and the beer very much: indeed it was the thought of the food and the real ale which kept us going through the seemingly interminable bogs on the way back down from the hills. Scotland is a great area for walking but in our experience has been let down by lousy pubs and beer and even worse restaurants. The Caberfeidh is a real find and I hope your exciting venture succeeds Best wishes John Moynihan

Recommendation
We would like to thank Trout and Salmon magazine for recommending The Caberfeidh, after spending the day fishing the local Lochs as research for the issue, a relaxing evening was had by all at The Caberfeidh with good food and a little real ale.

Food

We are now cooking with more fresh local ingredients than ever before, which not only reflects in the quality of our food,

Fresh ingredients = quality food - simple

Real Ales
We have real ale on tap, with two hand pulls, one resident ale with a guest ale changed weekly - not bad for this far North!!

Take Away Menu
For 2010 we will have a full take away menu available at the pub.
