Nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the towering mountains of Sutherland, Lochinver is one of the most beautiful locations in the British Isles.
Still a busy fishing port, Lochinver is also a very popular location for hill walking, fishing, hunting and a great destination for a relaxing holiday.
With a population of around 400 this small community offers a warm welcome to all of it's visitors
Lochinver has very good facilities for a small Highland town, with two local stores, a petrol station, sports centre, post office, and a fish market (Link) Mackay Brothers, a butcher, a number of eateries and above all two bars!
With it's beautiful white sandy beach Achmelvich is a popular location. The Shore Caravan Park is a great place seaside holiday.
