WELCOME
Simon and Jennifer Allen welcome you to The Caberfeidh. Now in our
third season and with a reputation for some of the best food in the
area, and outstanding value for money, we cater for our customers
needs, we do not just serve them.
Pronounced "Caber - Fay" which in turn is Gaelic for "Deer Antler", The
Caberfeidh Is one of just a few Restaurants located in the picturesque
fishing village of Lochinver, in the North West Highlands county of
Sutherland, The Caberfeidh has a fully licensed public bar and a
separate restaurant in which you can relax and unwind after a long day,
with its stunning views across the sea loch, there can be no better
place to unwind with a good malt whilst watchig the sunset!
Both the public bar and restaurant are wheelchair friendly.
Well behaved dogs are welcome in the garden.
The restaurant offers a fantastic selection of traditional home cooked
pub food and the bar has a good choice of beers, wines and spirits, we
also offer real ale which is changed regularly.
Both our lunch and dinner menu’s cater for those wanting to
stop for a quick bite, and those wishing to while away a few hours next
to the river and sea loch. The little ones can choose from the
children’s menu, or smaller portions from a choice of the
main courses.
A popular location for locals and visitors to the area, The Caberfeidh
has a warm and friendly atmosphere. On Friday and Saturday nights the
bar is vibrant with a mix of nationalities and accents making a visit
to the Caberfeidh a truly global experience.
